• 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 packet of corn
  • 200g creamed corn (OR ½ cup of milk cream)
  • 2 onions chopped finely
  • ½ tsp ginger paste
  • ½ tsp garlic paste
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tomato finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder

This corn stuffing comes in handy while preparing many starters. You can spread it on a toast or use as filling in the mushrooms or lavishly use it in the cups. Make a bowlful ,refrigerate it and get innovative.


  1. Heat 3 tablespoon butter in a pan.
  2. Add the corn and the creamed corn to the butter and stir fry for 4 mintes.
  3. Add half a cup water and cook the corn for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat the remaining butter in another pan and fry the onions well till golden.
  5. Add the ginger-garlic paste ,green chillies, corianderleaves and tomatoes
  6. And stir well.
  7. Add the corn mixture and keep stirring until dry.
  8. Add sugar ,lemon juice and garam masala powder
  9. Sprinkle pepper powder and mix well.
