- 4 tablespoon butter
- 1 packet of corn
- 200g creamed corn (OR ½ cup of milk cream)
- 2 onions chopped finely
- ½ tsp ginger paste
- ½ tsp garlic paste
- 2 green chillies finely chopped
- 1 tomato finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
This corn stuffing comes in handy while preparing many starters. You can spread it on a toast or use as filling in the mushrooms or lavishly use it in the cups. Make a bowlful ,refrigerate it and get innovative.
METHOD:
- Heat 3 tablespoon butter in a pan.
- Add the corn and the creamed corn to the butter and stir fry for 4 mintes.
- Add half a cup water and cook the corn for 10 minutes.
- Heat the remaining butter in another pan and fry the onions well till golden.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste ,green chillies, corianderleaves and tomatoes
- And stir well.
- Add the corn mixture and keep stirring until dry.
- Add sugar ,lemon juice and garam masala powder
- Sprinkle pepper powder and mix well.
